Kirby and Jennifer: The Wedding!

I opted out of being "the" wedding photographer and I had the most fun just relaxing and enjoying each fun moment!

 Love her hair!
 So glamorous!
Yeah, well, I got my eye on you, too Booter Boy.

Boys with their new Aunt Jen!  (They think Kirby made a good choice!)
 My beautiful Grandparents

Eric had time to squeeze in a nap!
 Aren't they cute together?

 Ryan needed a nap, too.

Now it is time to go party it up!

Kirby and Jennifer's Rehearsal Dinner

Well, it was wedding #1 around here this past weekend!  Kirby and Jen got themselves hitched!  We had a nice backyard rehearsal dinner in Kirby's backyard.  Mom decorated it so cute!  We feasted on all kinds of good food, watched little boys chase rabbits, and laugh at all the stories that were told on Kirby.  Who knew he bought a 4 wheeler and then hid it at his buddy Craig's house for about four years before he ever told Mom and Dad?  Well, Amelia knew.  She promised to keep it a secret as long as he would take her along to ride it every now and then!

Kirby's best man, Craig.  I feel like it was yesterday when they were about the size of Eli and Sam...getting into all kinds of trouble, but never really getting into real trouble because they were too cute!  Guess they are still pretty cute!

Next stop...the church!

Today I am 14!!!

Sam's prayer this morning:
"Thank you God for Mommy's birthday.  Thank you that she is now 14!"

My prayer:
Thank you God for 14 years of life
plus 2 decades.
You are so good to me.

You even gifted me with a gardenia bush in full bloom when I woke up.
Love that.

Eric and the boys gave me fun adornments for the front yard...rosemary, basil, petunias, and yellow gerbera daisies.  Makes me happy everytime I leave the house and everytime I come back home!  BTW, before you put those yeast rolls in the oven next time, first baste them with melted butter and sprinkle chopped fresh rosemary and a little salt on top.  yummo. yummo. yummo.

The boys had their awards ceremony at school yesterday.
I marvel at God's grace on our family and in their lives.
They each got the Principal's Award:  all A's and good conduct
...awards for speech meets and math olympics and spelling bees
and Cade got the CROWN award, given to only one boy/girl for each grade.

grace.

If only that grace would bleed over into my indoor-gymnasium-picture-taking-abilities.  geesh.
