Dessert Advice
I have to make a dessert on Sat. night and I am in the mood to try something new. This is where you come in! If you have time today, would you post one of your families' favorite dessert recipes on your blog? Be sure to leave me a comment if you do so! Thanks for helping a gal out; you sugar-sweet thing!

I love to bake! How many people are you trying to feed? Are you looking for cake, pie, cookies, or does it matter?

One of our favorites and the easiest.
1 or 2 frozen apple or peach pies
1 stick of butter for each pie
1 cup of brown sugar for each pie
1/2 cup of chopped pecans/almonds for each pie
Break or cut pies into chunks and place in a casserole dish. Melt butter and brown sugar and pour over pies. Top with nuts and bake at 350 for 1 hour. It might take a little longer if you use 2 pies. The crust of the pies need to be golden brown.
