How Do You Save??

I got to go grocery shopping all by myself this morning! I feel like I can at least stick to the list that way. I was a little shocked at the total bill. As I was buying stuff, I noticed that prices have dramatically gone up. Avocados are double, fish sticks are up $3, DiGiorno pizzas are up $3, Orange Juice is out of control, whole wheat flour is $6 a bag, bananas are up $.12 a pound, fresh green beans are almost $3 a pound, and popcorn is almost $5 for a box!

I am not going to gripe here, because I love my country and I believe that even if things get worse, God is our provider...Jehovah Jireh. ("God sees to it"...Genesis 22:14) So, the purpose of this post is to hear from you! How do you save money for your family? I clip coupons and buy beef in bulk, but I was wondering what kinds of tips you have!! Please share!

Alot of sandwiches and skipping meals has worked out pretty well for me! Maybe thats why I continue to lose weight since moving out of "Mom's Bed and Breakfast (& Dinner)."

This sounds terrible, but limiting our outings to Mcd's helps a lot.
We go daily (let me explain)My name is Carol, and I am a McDonald's diet coke aholic! I still get my daily "fix" in the am but when the kids want something it's water or even just fries for everyone instead of happy meals all around. Coupons, shopnsave $10 off day, and whatever is on sale wins. Go to grocery game.com for great ideas too! We are just trying to think before we buy. Which is helping a lot!

We try to eat at places where kids eat free such as Pizza Inn when we eat out. We also limit our driving or try to get things done while we are out such as getting groceries after church.

I got out my foodsaver and started buying in bulk when I can find things on sale. I cooked up a bunch of hamburger meat and divided and packaged it. This will make it easy to pull one out and add it to a meal, like nachos and pasta dishes. I'm home on Wednesdays if you would like to package anything up.

She has lots of saving money ideas.

Maybe we could form a grocery group and get together and share cost saving meal ideas
